My 2023 Silverado 2500 has 5engine codes. They did not correct the issues saying I did not have AGM batteries. BS! 24 volts is 24 volts. Then charge me $ 247 bucks for diagnostic.

I scheduled a 45,000 mile service for my car which should include oil change, cabin filter change, and transmission service. I tried calling the dealership twice before booking the appointment and could never get to a live person to verify if I could get a transmission service at this appointment. I arrived at Dan Vaden at 2:30pm for my 3:00pm appointment. I told the advisor I was early. I asked the advisor if a transmission service would be performed. Advisor said they would have to review my service records and perform inspection and let me know what was needed. I agreed and proceeded to the lobby. At 4:07, I had not received any updates or recommendations on needed services so I text the advisor and asked for an update. At 4:27, advisor walked in and told me my car service was complete. When we got to the checkout counter, he told me the total for my oil change. I asked him why the transmission service was not completed. He told me I didn’t need a transmission service at this appointment and they they included a list of recommended services to be completed at my next appointment, because they didn’t have time. I told the advisor my new car scheduled maintenance sheet showed a transmission service was due at 45,000 miles. Advisor said “in the interest of time, we ask that you book another appointment”. So to sum it up, I wasted two hours of my life sitting in the lobby at Dan Vaden for an appointment I would have never booked if I had only needed an oil change. Complete waste of time. I never should have paid since my full service wasn’t completed. This is not my first bad experience with this dealership. I will NEVER return to Dan Vaden. The only reason I booked an appointment here was because I didn’t have the time to drive out of town to a proper dealer. Now, I still have to drive out of town to a proper dealer for a proper service.

Fast, efficient, and willing to make a deal.

I have left messages to be contacted by someone from finance. Evidently they were ignored. As part of the purchase I am supposed to get a hard bed cover. I have contacted my salesman concerning when I can get it installed. He's promised to call me back but never has.

Dan Vaden Chevrolet Service Department in Brunswick Georgia has very consistently been an excellent experience over the three years I have been taking my two Chevrolet vehicles to them.

I had a sensor go out on my vehicle and the price was in my opinion out of line. Mrs Hood found a discount that helped but the price was still over priced in my opinion. Price aside it was great customer service and I will return because of the people.

Each time I've gone to Vaden my needs have been met. Kaitlyn keeps me informed by phone call, text or email. There are no slips and slides with Kaitlyn Call!

Roy was friendly & professional. He kept me updated on my car during service.

Initially told 4hrs, had car for 8hrs, problem not fixed. Over a week later still waiting for the tire sensor to come in.

I had an 8:30am appointment my service advisor name was Kaitlyn B Call, I was told I would have to leave my truck because it would probably take a day to get the work done but I waited anyway I thought more would have been done to solve the problem on my Truck but I was out front when my truck was brought out at 11:10am 11:30 I called Kaitlyn to find the status of my truck and was told it was ready just waiting on Kaitlyn to check me out I waited until 12:10 so I went to see why I had to wait so long since my truck was finished only to see her talking to someone in their office and she saw me but continued her conversation so another advisor stopped with her lunch to check me out very disappointed in the way she took care her business with me I have been coming to Vaden for many years and this was a first the advisor handled business with me in this manner very disappointed with this visit!!

Check engine light has been on since July. Though I have had to make multiple trips out of country it seemed as though I was always waiting on a rental vehicle. Once finally getting the call thay a rental was available I sent my stuff over to service (license and Insurance) to ensure that picking up the vehicle would be seamless. This was not the case. Still had to wait 45 minutes to drop off and pick up the rental and they still needed me to give information again. So pretty much a pointless process. Then dropped my vehicle off on a Thursday for a 2 day repair..... on Tuesday my truck showed that it was completed and awaiting final touches and by the map it ahowed my vehicle waiting in the customer parking area.... no call on Wednesday and continued to show awaiting final touches.... then Thursday at 2 I finally had to call to get the status of my vehicle. I was told its not done yet and that I would have to wait on a tech to release it...... then 20 kinutes later relieve a call that no my truck is done and that I could come get it. The communication at this place is absolute garbage. Recieved truck back not cleaned or detailed which its never been detailed since I bought the truck after that disaster of a delivery. All new management needs put in place here but then again I believe its just the vaden standard as the hyundai place is just as terrible. Also when you tell them to have a manager call you or have the gm get in contact with you they never call as they refuse to own up to their shortfalls.

The service technician was good. But after receiving my vehicle, I noticed a slight shake and a slight pull of the front end to the right. I called the phone number listed on the web site for this location and a female (live person) answered and scheduled me to take the vehicle back to the shop the next day at 10am. Upon arrival the service technician met me and proceeded to tell me they couldn’t take my vehicle until later in the week or even the following week…it was a complete waste of my time, specifically during my work day. In this regard, the experience was terrible and I feel as though my time wasn’t valued, especially since I had already paid for my service!! There was no urgency to take care of my concerns.

I have never been treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. My experience with Dan Vaden Chevrolet has been a 50+ day saga of incompetence, financial loss, and harassment. 1. The Mechanical Failure: I have serviced my Suburban exclusively at this dealership. On November 3, 2025, I paid $886.20 for preventative maintenance explicitly recommended by their team to protect engine health, including a $199.95 Fuel Induction Service and a $59.95 Throttle Body Service. Just 1,800 miles (6 weeks) later, at only 66,488 miles, the engine suffered a catastrophic lifter failure. Instead of standing behind their work, they quoted me $14,787.77 for a complete engine replacement. A catastrophic failure on a modern V8 engine barely 10% outside the Powertrain Warranty—immediately following "preventative" service—is unacceptable. 2. Stranded During the Holidays ($3,000 Loss): Despite the premature failure of an engine they just serviced, I was denied a loaner vehicle for the first 30 days. This refusal occurred directly over the Christmas and New Year’s holiday break, disrupting our family travel plans and leaving us stranded. I was forced to pay nearly $3,000 out of pocket to Avis to keep my family mobile while waiting for them to act. I 3. The "Diagnostic" Extortion: After 50 days in the shop, Advisor Brittany Hood attempted to charge me a $199 diagnostic fee for a "Service Transmission" light. She acknowledged in writing that this light was on when the truck was towed in (a clear symptom of the engine failure), yet still tried to squeeze me for more money to "diagnose" it weeks later. 4. The Communication Failure: Proactive communication was nonexistent. I had to chase them for every update. On the final weekend, the advisor left for the day without providing a status update, leaving me entirely in the dark. 5. The Harassment (The Final Straw): On Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 4:30 PM, I arrived at the dealership and was formally checked out by Service Advisor Kaitlyn Call. She handed me Invoice #286463 reflecting a $0.00 balance and released the vehicle to me. Despite this, Service Director Mike Tade called me on Monday and left a voicemail accusing me of taking the vehicle without paying. He stated the 50-day delay and expenses incurred were "not his problem" and threatened legal action against me. Threatening a loyal customer with a lawsuit because your internal team failed to communicate is unforgivable. I have paid my bill, but I will never step foot in this dealership again. GM Corporate needs to investigate the management of this service department immediately

People were great, service on vehicle was good. Although I'm sure what was fixed needed it, my problem still exist. Was told I needed new tires. There still over 50 percent tread. All I can do is hope it holds together till I can put new tires on then bring back to fix anything else. Lot of thumping coming out of front end to be road noise from worn tires. Something is thumping with rotation movement.

Professional and courtesous However when I left my truck was running rough with hesitation I called dealership back they advised me that wax normal. Not when you put in new spark plugs and wires Drove it home Monday morning same thing all over the road Tow truck picked it up at 12:15 to bring back to fix the problem

I had a very good experience at the dealership however my issue is with GM management. The so called fix for GM outsourcing parts from TEMU and putting them in the 6.2 motors is changing the oil to a more expensive oil therefore costing the consumer twice as much for an oil change or they won't cover the cost of an engine that they put sub par parts into in the first place. I understand that everyone is in business to make money but I can promise you that you would make more if you actually fixed the problem instead of just throwing a band aid on it. You are losing the heartbeat of America. Your fix is to charge your customer that have already paid a premium for the particular motor double of and oil change and now as part of the fix a loss in gas mileage per gallon because you took a shortcut. That is unacceptable. Just make it right.

After my first service my cameras would not work. So Roy had the tech check out my 2025 Colorado. Found that it needed an update. It took several hours but it was corrected.

wish they would check records before it was brought in to see problems from previous visits and maybe check warranty paperwork before sending a customer a bill. per previous work was brought in for battery died over night and coolant/oil usage no leak on floor using 2 quarts between oil change. found leak at oil pan. removed parts to do job and broke most of the clips on differential and sensors. lack of care and never found reason for electrical was told it is a battery. has not acted up again but still has original battery in it and was tested a few more times and battery still test good. every since the initial work was done now all i have is lights popping up. brought in 2 more times since and thought they were checking and replacing mirror per light and was told it was programed and cleaned now it was ordered but wont be here till march.

I was told up front that it would only take 3 to 4 days to get the part and a day to install. 27 days later, after several part did not arrive, part did not fix issue, transmission replacement would be quicker and easier but not approved, the part finally arrived and was replaced 3 days before the truck would be considered a lemon. No help was offered in a loaner or reimbursement for rental. The truck was still under warranty for the repair. What good is a warranty if I have to come out of pocket ($1,552.84) to get transportation to go to work. I missed work during the first week of this ordeal trying to figure out a way to get to work, this was not a vacation, it was over $3,000.00 in lost time that could have been a planned vacation. After further research on my own I was able to open a case file for reimbursement for a rental. I was told that reimbursement would only be available if it was a vehicle similar to the one being serviced. The cost of a rental for a 2500 Silverado is twice what the case file letter offered. Now after sending all the information in that was requested in the caseupdate e-mail (Chevrolet Case 90088573), I was assigned a new case file number (91387114) so the Regional Customer Assistance/Goodwill Team can review the information I sent, and I was told it may take up to 3 or 4 weeks to get a response. This is a true story.

Ok I’ve used Dan Vaden for almost 7 years with my same truck always loved going there and getting respected but this time it was not so good they didn’t even top off my window washer fluid and then the oil light came on on the way home needing oil. So I had to make an hour trip again to top off the oil. Don’t know if I’ll be back!

I came to Vaden Chevrolet in Hinesville after researching extensively and receiving two competing offers from other dealerships. My experience with Sales Consultant Samantha and Sales Manager Ervin was outstanding. Within 30–45 minutes, we reached a fair, transparent out-the-door deal with no games or unnecessary back-and-forth. Their initial offer was stronger than the others, even before they knew those numbers. The entire process was professional and efficient. Samantha and Ervin were friendly without being pushy, and Frank in finance was thorough, respectful, and clear — with no high-pressure tactics. This was one of the smoothest vehicle purchases I’ve had, and I would gladly return to Vaden for future service and purchases.

It took over 4 hours to do an oil change with an appointment. There was zero communication about the length of time until I asked about it after 2 hours. I was told they weee just starting a test and it be done soon. An hour later I checked again and it still wasn’t even close. After 4 hours I was told it would be right out and the rep at the desk blamed the desk rep that checked me in. I’ll be looking for a new service provider.

When I received the vehicle I was told by the salesman that he would personally deliver the vehicle, I’m thinking we’d be able to go over every piece of paper given to me, their were certain things that didn’t make sense but eventually we went up there to try and get it all straightened out due to non answering of phones..responses and calls were timely before receiving the vehicle but after getting it all communication went blank. I then noticed a scuff on one of the rims and I just received it a few days ago

Was sold a lifetime oil change warranty, but at the last oil change was told this would be the last one. Why sell a product your not going to honor??? Having a similar issue with the work they performed on my truck. Its under warranty but there ignoring my emails. The warranty company says it's well under the warranty but they don't want to honor the warranty on the engine they installed. I regret ever buying anything from Dan vaden

Roy Johnson was my service advisor and he couldn't have been more helpful! I drove to Brunswick from Texas and my car started making a loud sound. As I described it, he started shaking his head. He knew exactly what the problem was! It was fixed and I was very grateful!

I am amazed that the first maintenance check (oil change) or future oil changes does not include tire rotation or fluid check/refill. I have been buying Chevy vehicles or over 30 years at other dealerships and these services have always been included as part of the oil change with no extra charge or the need for a maintenance plan. If Vaden Chevrolet is not going to provide value after a new car purchase, I don't see any reason in being loyal to the dealership. I can get this level of service from a quickie oil change place for less money. Guess I'll have to drive to north Georgia to my old dealership to buy my next Chevy's.

Got an oil change and an alignment. Had no idea there was a special going for both. And Angela in the service department called me to notify me about the special. Saved me nearly 60 bucks. Couldn’t ask for more…Dan Vaden nor Angela had to call me about the special to save me money but they went out of their way to do that. They also gave me a my alignment diagram to show me what was fixed with the alignment. Excellent.

I brought my car in for a key fob. Brittany was very attentive and nice to deal with. She showed me to a comfortable waiting area. I was a bit disappointed that it would take 1.5 hours to program and prepare the fob. But other than the length of time I was happy with my experience.

Had an appointment for an oil change @12pm and didn’t get out of there till 2pm…I’m not sure what’s the point of having an appointment if they’re going to take 2hrs to do ONLY an oil change. Definitely need to get quicker. Not hatting of the employees or mechanics but if you’re backed up then don’t book anymore appointments for that day.

I did not know what oil change arrangements I had made with Davis Chevrolet Gainesville, Florida. I do have a Fidelity Warranty Services oil change agreement had been purchased and should be honored at Vanden Chevrolet. My concern is no one checked from service department if a service agreement had been purchased. I would have thought vin number would lead to that conclusion. Customer service good but service agreement should have been checked on.

I left with out the intena and I had to go to another Chevy place to get my navigator and car set up, I was treated like some idiot and the sales manager called me 2 days later said he would overnight my antenna and my temporary tag that blew of cause they didn't put the screws all the way down and I was supposed to get a temporary tag and the intena overnighted to me 4 days ago and I'm still waiting,so I sure wish I would of went somewhere else.i trade my care in very 58k miles or 4 years what ever first and I want go back to Brunswick ga again ,never.

My service advisor, Jackie, was courteous, timely, and professional. And, I understand that you suggest additional work items be considered as a way to help your customer and to help your bottom line. However, you “suggested” that I allow you to change my spark plugs, an $1100 job. I know, and you know, that my car has about 57,000 miles, and that the Hyundai owners manual states to change plugs at 97,500 miles. I am appalled at this! It is disingenuous at best, and verging on criminal! I’m sure there are customers of yours, less fortunate than me, and less car savvy, that will shell out $1100 for work that is not at all needed!
