The only issue I had was they now notify you by text and email on your phone. As a senior citizen I don’t check my phone. I was in the waiting room and no one came to talk to me. Consequently I spent 2 hours waiting for an oil change. As a courtesy they should have told me up front that is how they will contact me. I was not happy since it could have been avoided by telling me up front when I checked in. When you are in your 70’s the phone is not glued to me.

I should wait, but I’ll put it on record. I purchased a 2025, $68000 Silverado. I noticed two dings in the rear driver door, and front bumper damage, I assumed it was parked against a light pole at your dealership. I got an IOU to do the necessary repairs, and it stated “repair like new” touch up paint will not be acceptable. The Finance guy, made numerous mistakes on my agreement. I did not want extended warranties. He stated “ that’s the fist time anyone said that” then on my bill, two of the maintenance agreements were included. Also, I have outstanding credit, and appears that no one will give you rate until your ready to sign. The rate turned out to be 7.99%. I sat in office went on the Chevy website and looked up rates. I showed him, and he replied, “Oh, in forgot to go in the back, and check rates”. I then came up 4.59%. It makes you wonder about customers that don’t know anything about rates or reviewing documents. After I purchased the truck, it was sent to detail. That was a mistake. The truck came back with dried soap on the “upgraded rims” the side mirrors, and the windshield, dried soap and water marks where they couldn’t reach. The vehicle looked better before it went to detail. I was at your dealership two days prior to purchase a vehicle with my daughter. It amazes me how we start off at $900 a month, down to the mid $600s with not much changes. Plus the woman that worked with us, tells us that she has been with Vaden for two years. We go on a test drive, and my daughter and her make small talk. She tells her that she moved here not to long ago, but she doesn’t like it, because of all the “Northerners” my daughter, was born in the North, so that was a bad start. Then back at the dealership, she spoke about her political views, pertaining to gas prices. The dealership is no place for debate on off topics. So, that sale was lost. My daughter went to Woody Folsom, and purchased her Tahoe. It went back to Vaden to purchase my truck, picked a different Salesman, then she shows up, telling he was in training, and will be helping out. She acted like she was the Sales Manager, forgetting what she told me 2 days earlier. I was not a good experience, especially after purchasing multiple vehicles from your dealership. Plus my two daughters also purchases from you as well. I’m just waiting on the results on my repairs to my truck. It looks like it’s going to be two separate days to complete the repairs. I hope you do a excellent job!

We had an issue with communication, updates and service pricing. Dropped the car off on Thursday July 3rd. Was supposed to get an update that day, didn’t hear back. Dealership was closed on Friday. Texted and Called Saturday and left a message, no response. Called back and asked for operator who was going to leave a message to have someone else return our call, no response. Called back later that afternoon and asked for a call from the service manager. Never heard from her (to this day). Finally got a text back on Monday saying we’d have an update by Tuesday. Not the case - we didn’t hear back until Thursday afternoon when it was complete. Understand that it was a holiday, but the lack of communication was really disappointing, especially since we needed to make travel arrangements. Further, we were told we would pay a diagnostic fee to assess the issue. :Paid that and received text update that the car needed Freon. Approved that via the text. Then got a text that there was a leak and we needed a new compressor. Why wasn’t that determined with the diagnostic fee? Why are we responsible for paying for the error in diagnosis? Lack of customer service (just returning a phone call) and lack of transparency in billing is abysmal,

The service department was good. I still think its a bit unsettling that a vehicle with 4000 miles on it already has this many codes on it and requires a 2 day repair. I also think its a bit ridiculous that on a vehicle with a 2 day repair that a loaner vehicle was not initially offer until I requested one. But I will say that the service department has definitely done a better job than the sales department has at Dan Vaden Chevrolet. Their sales team was easily my worst experience as a car buyer and after over a month of owning the vehicle the dealership still has yet to reach out to me for their blunder of my vehicle not being there on pickup but thats a whole different story.

I scheduled a 45,000 mile service for my car which should include oil change, cabin filter change, and transmission service. I tried calling the dealership twice before booking the appointment and could never get to a live person to verify if I could get a transmission service at this appointment. I arrived at Dan Vaden at 2:30pm for my 3:00pm appointment. I told the advisor I was early. I asked the advisor if a transmission service would be performed. Advisor said they would have to review my service records and perform inspection and let me know what was needed. I agreed and proceeded to the lobby. At 4:07, I had not received any updates or recommendations on needed services so I text the advisor and asked for an update. At 4:27, advisor walked in and told me my car service was complete. When we got to the checkout counter, he told me the total for my oil change. I asked him why the transmission service was not completed. He told me I didn’t need a transmission service at this appointment and they they included a list of recommended services to be completed at my next appointment, because they didn’t have time. I told the advisor my new car scheduled maintenance sheet showed a transmission service was due at 45,000 miles. Advisor said “in the interest of time, we ask that you book another appointment”. So to sum it up, I wasted two hours of my life sitting in the lobby at Dan Vaden for an appointment I would have never booked if I had only needed an oil change. Complete waste of time. I never should have paid since my full service wasn’t completed. This is not my first bad experience with this dealership. I will NEVER return to Dan Vaden. The only reason I booked an appointment here was because I didn’t have the time to drive out of town to a proper dealer. Now, I still have to drive out of town to a proper dealer for a proper service.

The service technician was good. But after receiving my vehicle, I noticed a slight shake and a slight pull of the front end to the right. I called the phone number listed on the web site for this location and a female (live person) answered and scheduled me to take the vehicle back to the shop the next day at 10am. Upon arrival the service technician met me and proceeded to tell me they couldn’t take my vehicle until later in the week or even the following week…it was a complete waste of my time, specifically during my work day. In this regard, the experience was terrible and I feel as though my time wasn’t valued, especially since I had already paid for my service!! There was no urgency to take care of my concerns.

It took nearly 3 hours to change oil and rotate the tires, only to have advisor present me with photos of an oily oil pan and a list of things she wanted to upsale things I could have her schedule. The last time I was in they told me I needed to change my cabin air filter, which I had changed that week. This is no longer a maintenance service but an arm twisting to make more mony. I wish others would comment to expose this side of their business.

Check engine light has been on since July. Though I have had to make multiple trips out of country it seemed as though I was always waiting on a rental vehicle. Once finally getting the call thay a rental was available I sent my stuff over to service (license and Insurance) to ensure that picking up the vehicle would be seamless. This was not the case. Still had to wait 45 minutes to drop off and pick up the rental and they still needed me to give information again. So pretty much a pointless process. Then dropped my vehicle off on a Thursday for a 2 day repair..... on Tuesday my truck showed that it was completed and awaiting final touches and by the map it ahowed my vehicle waiting in the customer parking area.... no call on Wednesday and continued to show awaiting final touches.... then Thursday at 2 I finally had to call to get the status of my vehicle. I was told its not done yet and that I would have to wait on a tech to release it...... then 20 kinutes later relieve a call that no my truck is done and that I could come get it. The communication at this place is absolute garbage. Recieved truck back not cleaned or detailed which its never been detailed since I bought the truck after that disaster of a delivery. All new management needs put in place here but then again I believe its just the vaden standard as the hyundai place is just as terrible. Also when you tell them to have a manager call you or have the gm get in contact with you they never call as they refuse to own up to their shortfalls.

I had a very good experience at the dealership however my issue is with GM management. The so called fix for GM outsourcing parts from TEMU and putting them in the 6.2 motors is changing the oil to a more expensive oil therefore costing the consumer twice as much for an oil change or they won't cover the cost of an engine that they put sub par parts into in the first place. I understand that everyone is in business to make money but I can promise you that you would make more if you actually fixed the problem instead of just throwing a band aid on it. You are losing the heartbeat of America. Your fix is to charge your customer that have already paid a premium for the particular motor double of and oil change and now as part of the fix a loss in gas mileage per gallon because you took a shortcut. That is unacceptable. Just make it right.

I have never been treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. My experience with Dan Vaden Chevrolet has been a 50+ day saga of incompetence, financial loss, and harassment. 1. The Mechanical Failure: I have serviced my Suburban exclusively at this dealership. On November 3, 2025, I paid $886.20 for preventative maintenance explicitly recommended by their team to protect engine health, including a $199.95 Fuel Induction Service and a $59.95 Throttle Body Service. Just 1,800 miles (6 weeks) later, at only 66,488 miles, the engine suffered a catastrophic lifter failure. Instead of standing behind their work, they quoted me $14,787.77 for a complete engine replacement. A catastrophic failure on a modern V8 engine barely 10% outside the Powertrain Warranty—immediately following "preventative" service—is unacceptable. 2. Stranded During the Holidays ($3,000 Loss): Despite the premature failure of an engine they just serviced, I was denied a loaner vehicle for the first 30 days. This refusal occurred directly over the Christmas and New Year’s holiday break, disrupting our family travel plans and leaving us stranded. I was forced to pay nearly $3,000 out of pocket to Avis to keep my family mobile while waiting for them to act. I 3. The "Diagnostic" Extortion: After 50 days in the shop, Advisor Brittany Hood attempted to charge me a $199 diagnostic fee for a "Service Transmission" light. She acknowledged in writing that this light was on when the truck was towed in (a clear symptom of the engine failure), yet still tried to squeeze me for more money to "diagnose" it weeks later. 4. The Communication Failure: Proactive communication was nonexistent. I had to chase them for every update. On the final weekend, the advisor left for the day without providing a status update, leaving me entirely in the dark. 5. The Harassment (The Final Straw): On Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 4:30 PM, I arrived at the dealership and was formally checked out by Service Advisor Kaitlyn Call. She handed me Invoice #286463 reflecting a $0.00 balance and released the vehicle to me. Despite this, Service Director Mike Tade called me on Monday and left a voicemail accusing me of taking the vehicle without paying. He stated the 50-day delay and expenses incurred were "not his problem" and threatened legal action against me. Threatening a loyal customer with a lawsuit because your internal team failed to communicate is unforgivable. I have paid my bill, but I will never step foot in this dealership again. GM Corporate needs to investigate the management of this service department immediately

All I can do is hope it holds together till I can put new tires on then bring back to fix anything else. Lot of thumping coming out of front end to be road noise from worn tires. I was told up front that it would only take 3 to 4 days to get the part and a day to install. 27 days later, after several part did not arrive, part did not fix issue, transmission replacement would be quicker and easier but not approved, the part finally arrived and was replaced 3 days before the truck would be considered a lemon. No help was offered in a loaner or reimbursement for rental. The truck was still under warranty for the repair. What good is a warranty if I have to come out of pocket ($1,552.84) to get transportation to go to work. I missed work during the first week of this ordeal trying to figure out a way to get to work, this was not a vacation, it was over $3,000.00 in lost time that could have been a planned vacation. After further research on my own I was able to open a case file for reimbursement for a rental. I was told that reimbursement would only be available if it was a vehicle similar to the one being serviced. The cost of a rental for a 2500 Silverado is twice what the case file letter offered. Now after sending all the information in that was requested in the caseupdate e-mail (Chevrolet Case 90088573), I was assigned a new case file number (91387114) so the Regional Customer Assistance/Goodwill Team can review the information I sent, and I was told it may take up to 3 or 4 weeks to get a response. This is a true story.

wish they would check records before it was brought in to see problems from previous visits and maybe check warranty paperwork before sending a customer a bill. per previous work was brought in for battery died over night and coolant/oil usage no leak on floor using 2 quarts between oil change. found leak at oil pan. removed parts to do job and broke most of the clips on differential and sensors. lack of care and never found reason for electrical was told it is a battery. has not acted up again but still has original battery in it and was tested a few more times and battery still test good. every since the initial work was done now all i have is lights popping up. brought in 2 more times since and thought they were checking and replacing mirror per light and was told it was programed and cleaned now it was ordered but wont be here till march.

It took over 4 hours to do an oil change with an appointment. There was zero communication about the length of time until I asked about it after 2 hours. I was told they weee just starting a test and it be done soon. An hour later I checked again and it still wasn’t even close. After 4 hours I was told it would be right out and the rep at the desk blamed the desk rep that checked me in. I’ll be looking for a new service provider.
