Performance & Tech Features of the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV

Exciting And Sporty Midsize All-Electric SUV

The Chevy Blazer EV made its 2023 debut on the big screen in the Barbie Movie, and now you can find it at Dan Vaden Chevrolet Brunswick. This exciting new all-electric SUV has plenty of power and technology features, exactly what today’s drivers want. Let’s take a look at the sporty and well-equipped new addition to the family-friendly and fun-to-drive Chevrolet Blazer EV.

What’s Powering The Blazer EV

The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV sits atop the General Motors Ultium battery platform. It has a unique arrangement that allows drivers to choose models with all-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, or rear-wheel drive. Most EVs only offer one or two configurations.

Chevy will release three trims, but the two currently available are the Blazer EV RS and LT. Both come standard with an 85-kWh battery pack and standard all-wheel drive. This configuration gives the Chevy Blazer EV a range of 279 miles on a full charge. With its 150 kW charging speed, it takes about 30 minutes to reach a charge of 80% using a Level 3 DC fast charger.

Drivers who choose the LT trim can get it with front-wheel drive, and the RS can come with rear-wheel drive. The dual-engine, all-wheel-drive versions of both trims deliver 288 horsepower, while the rear-wheel-drive RS delivers 340 horsepower. Soon, Chevy will release the zippy SS model with 557 horsepower and a zero-to-60 time of under 4.0 seconds.

Keeping You Informed, Safe, And Entertained

The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV interior seats five comfortably. Chevy engineers added a sporty interior style with round air vents and two-tone colors in the RS and SS trims. The rear seat folds to create 60 cubic feet of cargo space.

Chevy includes an industry-leading 17.7-inch infotainment system with all the bells and whistles. The infotainment platform has General Motors’ latest Google Built-In software with apps like Spotify and Google Maps. Interestingly, the Blazer EV does not come with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The Blazer EV navigation system recommends charging stations as you’re en route to your destination.

Chevrolet takes pride in adding useful driver-assistive features. The Chevrolet Blazer EV LT comes standard with Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, Front Pedestrian and Cyclist Braking, Rear Park Assist, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Lane-Keep Assist with Lane-Departure Warning, Blind-Zone Steering Assist, Buckle-to-Drive, LED Reflective Windshield Collision Alert, and Safety Alert Seat.

Drivers who choose the RS trim can add the RS Driver and Convenience Package which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, HD Surround Visions, Rear Pedestrian Alert, Side Bicyclist Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, a Head-Up Display, and more. Super Cruise Hands-Free autonomous driving is expected to be available on the SS trim.
