Just in time for spring, the 2013 Cadillac XTS is set to roll into the Dan Vaden of Brunswick showroom with a starting price of $44,995. The car, which debuted at the L.A. Auto Show in November, is what Cadillac describes as their "Most technologically advanced car yet."1 It is a Cadillac through-and-through, with a comfortable interior and plenty of room, but it also features some of the latest in in-vehicle technology and performance.
Or, as Don Butler, VP of Cadillac Marketing explains, the "all-new XTS redefines our approach to the luxury sedan by combining advanced technology, stunning design and confident performance."2
More specifically, the XTS is the first Cadillac to feature CUE, or Cadillac User Experience, an all-new infotainment system. It seamlessly syncs with your Bluetooth enabled smartphone and provides access to entertainment, navigation, and voice recognition technology to make using all of these features easy to access. Just like the smartphone or tablet you use every day, CUE understands the flicks, taps and swipes you'll use to navigate the menu and options.
It's just as impressive under the hood, as well, with a 300-horposer, 3.6-liter direct-injection engine. Options include front- or all-wheel drive, and safety technology like first directional seat vibrations to alert drivers of crash threats.
